Het was vroeg opstaan op zaterdag 17 februari voor een team van museum RockArt, onder leiding van Jaap Schut. Vanuit Hoek van Holland werd afgereisd naar Noord Drenthe. Doel van de tocht was een enorm grote collectie grammofoonplaten, waaronder ook vele 78 toeren vinyl, op te halen, beschikbaar gesteld door Marc Jacobs. De verzameling bevatte veel materiaal uit de tijd dat hij actief was bij de radio, onder meer bij Mi Amigo, Caroline, RTL en RTV Noord.
Maar het waren niet alleen de platen die mee gingen naar Museum RockArt maar bijvoorbeeld ook alle cassettes met originele programma’s van Radio Mi Amigo en Radio Caroline, die destijds aan boord van het zendschip waren opgenomen en dus nu in studiokwaliteit het archief zijn ingegaan. Pronkstuk is wel een Huizenga mengpaneel, dat Marc Jacobs (Rob van Dam) tevens beschikbaar stelde. Dit mengpaneel heeft ook een link naar de zeezenders want deze werd gebruikt tijdens de opname van diverse programma’s die door Marc thuis voor beide stations heeft opgenomen. Een waardige aanwinst voor de collectie van Museum RockArt.
